Turkish Airlines- Inflight meals – What to Expect!

In my opinion, Turkish Airlines offers some of the tastiest inflight meals in economy class. Business class dining options are excellent too.  If you want to check out my other stories about Turkish Airlines, check here, and here. Here’s a breakdown of what I recently received from Paris to Singapore (via Istanbul) in economy class.

With a flight time of just 2hr and 35mins, I was very impressed with the inflight food offering on this sector.

The cabin crew offered a choice of beef or pasta; I opted for the beef, which came with some vegetables and rice, an entrée of yogurt with peas, and a delicious chocolate mousse.

I loved the meal; the beef was flavourful and the quantity perfect. My only gripe is that my water and part of the entrée were frozen solid.

The airline provides proper

Thai Airways meals – Review and information for passengers

I’ve flown many times with Thai Airways in economy class, and you can read more about those experiences here, here, and here. In April, I decided to visit some friends in Paris and Zurich, and Thai had some great airfares ex Melbourne.

The crew on Thai are generally quite good, always smiling, welcoming and friendly. I don’t find their western food offerings very exciting; however, I will always order the local Thai dish, and I find they are always great tasting and authentic.

MELBOURNE TO BANGKOK APRIL 2022

On this 8.5-hour flight from Melbourne to Bangkok Thai provides two meal services, served on meal trays. (Many airlines are either removing or downsizing their second meal services on some flights)

For the first service, I selected the curry, which was delicious and served with smoked salmon and vegetable salad. The

Singapore Airlines – Economy Class Meals Cutbacks

singapore airlines economy class meal

I feel as though Singapore Airlines have cut back many elements that formed part of their signature economy class service. I understand that Covid had a detrimental impact on airlines, and they are doing what they can to reduce further losses and increase profit. However, I dislike it when airlines use Covid as an excuse to make cutbacks, especially in the back of the aircraft.

Airfares are currently at insane levels, airlines have become greedy, and service cutbacks are the norm in the economy class cabin. SQ is no stranger to this phenomenon, as I recently found out on a flight from Singapore to Melbourne in economy class.

Singapore Airlines lounge food

First up, I visited the lounge, which was recently renovated. It was a lovely experience and offered an array of food options, and I ordered some noodles and dumplings, which were ready in

Aegean Airlines – Inflight meals

Aegean are still one of my favourite airlines to travel with in Europe. The crew are consistently genuine, happy and proud to deliver a typically Greek hospitality experience. Since November 2021 I have flown with the airline several times including:

August 2022

Corfu to Paris

November 2021

Paris to Athens

November 2021

Athens to London

The inflight service is slightly different to pre covid-19 times. In business class, the crew delivers one meal tray, which includes the starter, main, and dessert; previously, each course was served separately. In economy class, snack boxes are offered, including a small sandwich and sweet.

The airline has maintained a level of service in business class, but economy class has certainly seen drastic cuts.

Aegean airlines will introduce a new service on October 6th, and we will see the return of hot snacks
